Comfortable beds, hot shower, non-intrusive staff. Clean. The lobby might be a little off-putting, but the rooms are just fine. The town seems like it's past her prime, but it's a cozy place to hole up while you explore Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Cedar Breaks National Monument.
Wanted to stay here, but no one was at the desk at 4:00PM. Called the number they left, no answer, no voice mail..? Waited about 1/2 hr, no one ever showed up. Went down the street to the Adobe Sands! Less expensive, more amenities, check-in was 5 minutes from arrival to room!
We did not have a reservation and it was after 10:30 when we got to Panguitch. Found a rate of $44 for two double beds at this hotel. When we got there they wanted to charge us $60 and said the &44 was for a single. Got him down to $50. This is a very old hotel, no room to park in the parking garage (half full of mattresses and supplies) so we parked out back. Room was very large and clean. Pillows were a bit lumpy. Good water pressure in shower, complimentary soap and there was a hair dryer. Leftover trash from previous guest in trash bin by complimentary coffee. In all it worked for the night but if I had been able to book in advance I'm sure we would have stayed elsewhere in town.
The room and the bathroom were clean and nice. The employee working the desk was nice and courteous. At least 3 gas stations within walking distance and some pretty good food near by.
Price is reasonable but place is very old and needs a remodelling...
