UPDATE: 3 days after leaving the hotel we realized that the small bug bites our 2 yo was getting starting with our first night there weren't mosquitoes: they were bed bugs. And they came home with us in his pillow. We were able to kill the infestation before it got too big, but we definately won't be back.

Great staff! It was clean, but hadn't been recently updated. Not a big deal for me -- I liked the handmade quilts on the wall -- but if you're expecting it to be spiffed up, you may be disappointed.

Well this is a treat. Where to begin? The best part of the stay was that it was over in one night. The room stank of industrial cleaner. The shower was clogged and wouldn't drain. The bathroom sink barely turned on and needed the strength of a thousand men to turn. I got stuck in the bathroom because the door was so warped that pulling it shut hermetically sealed you inside. Tiles were missing along the walls and there was a single packet of instant coffee waiting by the kettle: not even a half-hearted orange pekoe tea bag. It was bloody cold too though I don't know if I'd go so far to blame the motel for the weather though its paper thin walls didn't help. It's not like it was really cheap or the only option in town. Panguitch has more motels than residents. I'd book somewhere else.
4* review from the day after we left: Just what you expect from a cheap motel. A good place to stay when visiting Bryce Canyon (about 20-25 minutes away.)
