Hope this helps!

When I got back to the dock I talked to Guy, he OWNS the place and he pawned me off on Jim, the manager. Guy said, go talk to Jim because we don't give refunds for any reason. I talked to Jim and he said NO so I asked, if I turn the boat in now, before noon and you rent it out again, then will you refund me? He said YES, if I rent it out then I will refund you the money. We checked on the boat 10 times during the rest of the day and it was gone, the rest of the day. Now they just say, Oh well, too bad. We're not refunding you. It's not even about the money. It's about customer service and having integrity for your business.

I wanted to wait until we left the resort but decided to share my thoughts so far -

This place is a rip off. We made reservations for two nights, ended up only being able to stay one, we cancelled for one night and was told we would get a rain. Check for the payment, however when we got that he told us he doesn't do rainchecks. We were so mad we left, after driving 4 hours from pahrump, nv. He ended up charging us for both nights, 389.00 to be exact. He was a very rude arrogant p.o.s., thief. We will never ever go there again. He should be shut down and I hope he is.

Panguitch Lake resort is run by two wonderful people, Veronica and Guy.

We decided on this resort as a stop for a few days on the way to The Grand Canyon. I am 100% thrilled that we found this gem of a paradise. We have 2 daughters (6-7) and they are having a blast. Our first day we rented a Pantoon (very reasonable for 1/2 day) and took the family fishing on this beautiful lake. Lots of Rainbow Trout and approx 10 others. After our fishing, we took our 2016 Jeep Wrangler and hit the trails, total blast!!

You'd think when you drop over $600 in a weekend with them between their campsite, boat and store that they would take care of their customers. Guess they only care about one time visitors and not repeat business.

Three days in a beautiful cabin on the lake. Caught some beautiful very big trout. We're planning a week trip now. Everyone around there and everywhere in Utah we went to were fantastic. Really wonderful people.

Mother Nature at your front door with lots to offer.

The Rv spaces are all back in spaces but no worries. We got in well after 11pm and had no problem. The spaces are HUGE full hookup sites with a great view of the lake. Most all sites are gravel and pretty level.

My Review :

Con artists and crooks. I rented a boat for Saturday, Sept 3rd. Labor Day weekend. When we got on the boat the guy had to tinker with every switch to get the POS to start and was giving us advise if we got stuck. It took over 45 min to get out of the bay because of low water levels and we had to constantly lift the trim up and down to get the seaweed off of the prop. When we got to the other side of the lake there were broke down, beached boats. We did NOT feel safe so we headed back after 1 hr and it took a whole hr to get back to the dock because of low water levels. We stopped to help another one of their boats because the prop FELL off in the water, not because he hit bottom but because the rookie owner doesn't know how to put a prop on right. They had been drifting for an hr with no help.

Note: If you're RVing from Parowan, before you get to BRIANSHEAD, you'll come to a crazy switch back in the road. I made it with a 40 foot Class A towing a jeep. Thank god no one was coming down the mountain, pretty tight!

Bonus ... At the end of the road, you can book trail rides on these gorgeous horses into the Panguitch forest where you'll see Deer, Elk, Eagles and the occasional Coyote. $40 for 90 minutes, awesome!

Veronica and Guy are some of the best people on earth, they are warm and friendly I even went as far as purchasing a lake front lot from them and are looking forward to becoming neighbors with them.

I also asked the guy later on in the day that had his prop fall off if he got a refund and he said NO, they didn't offer him one nor would they give him one. Complete crooks!!

We're here for 2 days before hitting the road to The Grand Canyon but am considering staying another night to explore the country side where you can walk along natural spring creeks. Lots of wildlife to see or just chill

Panguitch lake Resort also has a great little park for the kids and a great restaurant. I order the best Reuben Sandwhich and my wife ordered the Turkey with mash - Awesome! Kids had what kids eat, Grilled Cheese - Tasty

I don't understand why someone would give a bad review. You have to be an ungrateful brat that complains about everthing. This is not a resort with swimming pools and nice lawns. This is Southern Utah's at it's best.

This resort has tons of of road trails and people from all over bring the ATV's for a good run. If you don't have a Jeep or ATV, you can rent one from Brianshead and they will deliver it to you.
